The Specialist Cheesemakers’ Association, in association with Neal’s Yard Dairy, has announced the third Science of Artisan Cheese conference, to be held on August 23-24 at North Cadbury Court in Somerset, England.
The conference will focus on themes relevant to the production of farmhouse cheese, directed to an international audience of cheese producers, public health regulators, scientists, and other members of the artisan cheese industry.
The first two conferences have sparked research collaborations, forged new networks for sharing information, and led to the successful translation of a French guide, “Microflore du lait cru” (The Microbiology of Raw Milk), into English. We are expecting a brilliant line-up of presentations this year from scientists and cheesemakers alike.
